Trash or Treasure? The Great Williamson Creek West Greenbelt Clean-up
Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)
Come explore the Williamson Creek West Greenbelt with South Austin Creek Alliance board members and volunteers sponsored by Austin Parks Foundation! We'll spend the morning learning about this historical creek while giving it the care it deserves. Be prepared to remove trash (and maybe treasure) and debris from the creek and greenbelt areas. So join your fellow creek lovers as we give back at Williamson Creek Greenbelt! Volunteers get the satisfaction of making a positive impact on this natural resource and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. Sturdy shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) and long pants are highly suggested. Some light snacks and coffee will be provided. We'll meet at 6311 Brush Country Road and get started right at 9:00 AM. NOTE - DO NOT USE THE ADDRESS ON GOOGLE MAPS (6310 is wrong).
