Westcreek Board Nominations

Nominations and Election January 25, 2025

The Westcreek Neighborhood Association is led by an Executive Committee of seven members, elected to staggered two-year terms. At our Annual Meeting on January 25, 2025, we will be electing several new members to the Executive Committee. 

Our current Board consists of seven members. Open positions are indicated by an asterisk*:

·      President* – Rita Berry (has served two consecutive terms-not eligible)

·      Vice President* – Diana John (current officer – accepted President nomination)

·      Treasurer – Sue Stewart

·      Secretary* – Robert Reichle

·      At – Large 1* – Laci Smith

·      At – Large 2* – Nicole Smith (current officer-accepted renomination)

·      At – Large 3 – Christine Edwards

·      Webmaster (unofficial Board Member)– Michael Sarahan

We have several vacancies coming up for next year and are interested in hearing from any members who would like to know more about the positions and may be interested in serving. Anyone who is a Voting Member (those who have paid their dues for the current year) may be nominated for upcoming vacancies.

The following terms of office will expire and be vacant/open for nominations:

·      President *

·      Vice President * (accepted President nomination)

·      Secretary *

·      Member At Large * 1

·      Member At Large * 2 (accepted renomination)

The remaining Executive Committee members (Vice President, Treasurer, At Large Members) will serve through the end of 2025.

The proposed slate for 2025 WNA Executive Committee is as shown below. Positions with an asterisk* are open for nominations.

Webmaster* – (unofficial Board Member) Michael Sarahan (retiring, accepting nominations)

In addition to these nominees, any Association member may nominate a qualified candidate for any open position by submitting the name to any Executive Committee Member at any time prior to the Annual Meeting. You can email the board at: [email protected] or [email protected] .  Nominees can also be made from the floor at the meeting by Voting Members present, to be eligible to nominate and vote for Executive Committee members, voting members must have held membership in the neighborhood association for at least one month prior to the meeting.  Any nominee must be a paid member of WNA and reside in the Westcreek subdivision for the entire term of their office (2 years).

A final list of nominated candidates will be published on the WNA website, email list, and presented at the Annual Meeting.
