Wishing Mrs. Margaret a Grand Retirement
For nine wonderful years, Westcreek resident Margaret Ramirez has brightened the school days of countless children as the Crossing Guard for Patton Elementary. As the new school year began in August, Mrs. Margaret folded up her reflective vest, embarking on an exciting new chapter in life alongside her husband and family.
At the corner of Westcreek and Morning Dew, Mrs. Margaret made it her mission to ensure every child felt special and cherished, just as her own Crossing Guard did when she was young. Her nurturing approach included regular hugs, thoughtful birthday gifts, and delightful treats like lollipops, all of which helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the children and parents.
Mrs. Margaret has a remarkable ability to remember each child by name, holding onto the memories of their smiling faces as they cross her path. While she will be missed at her post, she is excited to continue her connection with the school by volunteering occasionally. This will allow her to see her Patton family continue to grow and thrive, fostering the same spirit of love and community that she has always championed.
Join us in celebrating her journey and the many ways she has touched our community. Here’s to new adventures and the enduring friendships that make Westcreek such a special place!
Thank you, Mrs. Margaret, for your years of service and the love you shared with us all, rain or shine.
